Spinach Dip

Spinach Dip

Spinach Dip

One of my absolute favorite things to make when people come over is Spinach Dip.  I love the fact that it is so quick and easy to make.  The reason I only make it when people come over is so that I don’t eat the whole thing by myself!  There’s nothing like having my siblings over to play games, drink wine and eat Spinach Dip.  This recipe is a for sure party hit, and I can guarantee that you won’t have any leftover.

Spinach Dip
Appetizer

Ingredients
  • 1 16oz container of sour cream
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1 4oz can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 1 10oz package of frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 package dry leek soup mix
  • 1 sourdough bread bowl

Instructions
  1. Mix sour cream, mayo, water chestnuts, spinach and dry leek soup mix in a bowl and chill for 6 hours or overnight for best results.
  2. Cut off top of bread bowl and remove the interior bread breaking it into bite size pieces to use later for dipping. Set bread dipping pieces aside.
  3. Fill hollowed out bread bowl with sour cream mixture.
  4. Enjoy!
