I used to not be a fan of asparagus, but this Baked Asparagus recipe has made it one of my favorite vegetables. I’ve made it before without the lemon and it’s just not the same. Something about the zestyness of the lemon really makes it. Not to mention the garlic, I say “yes please” to anything with garlic in it!
Cut off the ends of the asparagus and lay them flat in a dish.
Cover with olive oil.
Add all other ingredients to taste.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Cooking time varies a little based on the width of the asparagus. The thinner the asparagus the less time it needs and thicker asparagus needs more time. When you can pierce the asparagus easily with a fork, it is done.
Also if all the asparagus is not laid flat in the dish, I would recommend turning them about halfway through cooking time.
